The Recap of 2010

2010 is nearing an end soon...
Recapping this year, memories came pouring out. I am not sure whether will I forget some of them, but below are some of the events which triggered emotions...

1. In the beginning of 2010, work pressure was enormous, killing me from within. However, with the help of my kind boss, I managed to pull through and told myself that work is not personal, don't take it to heart. I am really grateful that my boss has taught me lots of lessons and I have learnt many things from him. Year 2010 marked my first promotion in ST and of course I will continue to work hard :)

2. In May, CY, CS, Kane, Allan, BB and me went to Phuket for our 4D3N holiday. We have a very enjoyable time there. And even get to experience what is it like to get Tsunami's warning. I miss the sea, the sunlight, the food and the massage there. When you are out for holiday, everything seem to be fantastic! Almost immediately after the Phuket's holiday, I was chauffeur to Bintan for the 3D2N BG COM event. It was 2 oversea trips in just 1 month. Wow! If I never recall wrongly, Sam, Shu Hau, BB and me went to Melaka for a 1D road trip on Vesak Day, It was really fun with all the food and walk-around! Fun-filled May ^-^v

3. Also in the 1st and 2nd quarter of the year, BB decided to slowly give up his previous career and join me to work in Singapore. Till now, it has been 7 months + and we are still adapting to the new life style. Everything will work out fine! :)

4. Sometime in June, I have a few lovely cats in my house. One night, Dad knocked down 1 of them (I named her Mao Mao) and wounded her very badly. As I do not have the time nor the experience to heal her back, I sent her to HOPE who agreed to take in Mao Mao & her 3 babies without condition. Through their extensive care, Mao Mao recovered and was able to walk with no difficulty. Just when I thought everything was on the right track, disaster strikes... Mao Mao & her 3 babies was infected by Parvo virus. All 4 of them died in the less than 1 week despite treatment from the vet. Those few weeks were filled with agony, anxiety and despair. Now they have passed on, I can only pray that the 4 of them would have no worries in heaven. Mao Mao's mum is still under my care and I will continue to care for her if she choose to let us :)

5. A big event occurred in August. BB has carried out a mission in secret and surprised me with a cautiously-planned marriage proposal and solitaire ring. Wow, this really came out to be the biggest surprise of 2010. In the months following the proposal, we have since reserved the dinner venue's hall, booked our bridal studio and even purchased the wedding bands. All these are for the preparation of our big day on 23 Oct 2011. Lol, really looking forward to it.

6. I have been talking about attending CCNA course since don't-know-how-many-years-back and my boss was kind enough to sponsor a few of us. The classes will last all the way until Jun 2011. Hopefully I can pass the exams and get my certification successfully.

7. December is a quiet month, Christmas came and gone, people are clearing leaves, days are peacefully and quiet. Hence I am able to write this posting, gather my thoughts...

With all the big events listed out, I hope this posting will be a great recap of 2010, the people and the things who I have met and experienced...

Hereby, I wish everyone an advance:

HAPPY NEW YEAR 2011!

CHEERS!
